The emotions caved in around her unlike anything she had ever felt before. The betrayal. The hurt. Anger - fury. Anything and everything negative swarmed her before she could take another breath, and then boom! Something slammed into her, and a yelp escaped her lips when a searing pain soared up her spine, telling her brain something had pierced her stomach. Landing on the ground on hands and knees, the brunette lifted her head to see an older man, in his fourties or so leer down at her, and snarl, "You were never good for anyone...but to die." She lowered her head, hair matted slightly by sweat, as her eyes landed on blood dripping from the wound on her stomach. It was supposed to heal - wasn't it? Either way, she clutched the knife in her stomach, as a younger male appeared, obviously appalled and demanded, shoving the man away, "What have you done?" She inhaled, and whined, before falling onto her back, eyes watching the two men. "I did what was best, she was carrying...your friend's child!" The younger hissed, "You're an idiot! She has never lain with anyone but me! You killed my heir!" For that, as she felt the blood stain her gown, the young male proceeded to slice and kill the older one, who then collapsed about five feet from her.
Approaching her, the younger one spoke, wrapping his hands around the wound, "Pandora...it's okay...I'll help you." Whimpering, she shook her head, "Will you?" Blackness was already clawing at her vision. No one had ever cut her before, and as she felt darkness consume her vision, and she didn't mind. For some reason, she had the weird reason it shouldn't happen. In truth it didn't, but in here, it always did. Hannibal lay over the bleeding young woman, as her last breath escaped her lips, and her eyes closed, mostly peacefully in the arms of her lover.
"Hannibal!" a yelp escaped her lips as she awoke to the real world. Jerking up in bed, shivering from the adrenaline or what-ever it was, the young woman placed one hand on her forehead, the other on the bed she was lying on. Another stupid dream. Another one where she didn't leave and run away from Hannibal, but had been taken from him by his greedy, and ignorant father. Shivering, she slid out of the bed, and a pair of golden wings unfurled slightly as well, stretching. Last night had been a late night, and she had found something she never thought was possible. She felt - hurt. Pain seared her every movement, but it wasn't physical. It was emotional. The anger was placed, and she decided she needed to speak with Lillith. Maybe go pay her a visit today. Drawing her shiny gold wings in, the Invictus then dressed after a rapid shower, wanting to preserve water, and checking on Marshal. He was good here for the day.
Grabbing her anti-demon and anti-angel weapons, she buckled her sword around her hips and headed out, dropping down plenty of stories and grabbing onto a pole, grunting in pain as it ripped at her shoulders, before she dropped the rest of the way, only to land and heal rapidly before she got up and headed on her way. Hey, it was safer to do than to extend her wings and glide down. Not on days where it was light out, even though it was over-cast, she still didn't want to take the chance. As she walked, she could feel the darkness within her take root. The anger didn't help either. The anger towards Azrael. He had turned his back on her. He'd disappeared, and Lillith had told her he wasn't in Hell - why would she lie? She wouldn't, would she? She had said they were friends after all. Shoving these thoughts away, her hand landed on her sword at her left hip when she caught the scent of something curious. A group of nearby demons. Nose wrinkled slightly, and the Invictus snarled, as the four appeared, eyes locking onto hers, and one mused, "You...don't smell..." She unsheathed her sword, quickly scanning with her mind for anyone nearby. No one - just these idiots.
She spun her sword, which then became a lit with flames, tipped with dark shadows, a mix between the angel and shadow sword, much like her. She snarled, "Thanks, I bathe when I can."
A smirk formed along her lips, as she lunged, slicing through one demon, and finishing them off rather quickly - thankfully. They weren't Lillith's demons. Sheathing her sword, she kicked a demon's body over and then paused, hearing someone approach. Taking off, she headed down through the main streets of Tamaya, pouring on her speed when she could. Skidding to a stop pretty much near a building, she remained near where she was, and crouched down, eyes scanning with paranoia as to who was approaching her, as she produced both her anti-demon and anti-angel gun, anyone could be an enemy these days... Joshua patrolled quietly on the streets, attempting to stay in the shadows. The sky seemed more depressed than the earth itself. The dark clouds loomed over him.
Off in the distance he could here what sounded like fighting. Joshua shrugged thinking it was just some human fighting against either one of the armies that are here.
Joshua went to check it out. Instead he saw a woman carrying a sword made from shadow and fire. One thought ran through his head at that very moment, "Invictus."
Spotting an Invictus was very rare. Joshua felt that he had just won the lottery. His pace became faster. Apparently the woman had heard him and she was running away.
Joshua's walk turned into a a fearsome run. Attempting to catch the woman before she could escape his grasp. When he reached the corner where the woman disappeared he drew his sword as it burst into flames and began to walk around the corner.
Joshua looked at the woman as she came into view. He cleared his throat. "So your sword, a mix between flame and shadow right? Is that some kind of play on your species? Please correct me if I'm wrong." He kept a firm stance as he said it. Expecting some witty retort or even a attack.

In her crouched position, she felt fairly vulnerable, but her mind reached out and had caught onto the man's thoughts. He knew what she was. Dammit, she swore to herself. Clicking her anti-demon and anti-angel weapons, both which happened to be .9mm, she rested her head against the building, feeling shivers fly up her spine slowly. Sometimes this was when she could feel the hatred for Archangels, at least Azrael start to take root. Angels were too good for everything, and that included her, and Marshal. Mars was just like her, and they were pretty much like siblings now, with her teaching him what they could do, and him teaching her some more of these..emotions humans claimed to have. The Invictus held up her guns, her green eye and her brown eye narrowed slightly as she heard the person approach. The wind changed, sending his scent past the alley she was in. An angel. wonderful. Tucking her anti-demon gun into her holster, she then held her anti-angel gun up, eyes narrowing. Even if this male proved to be decent, she still didn't trust people, Mars had told her she should probably learn to trust some people. One could never be too careful in her mind. They all wanted a piece of power. And she and Marshal had more power than any Validus or Archangel. Thinking back to Lillith, she'd need to see the Validus again, making a mental note to find the Validus, she figured it shouldn't be too hard.
Suddenly, he approached with his sword drawn and burning. Giving him a short look, she suddenly heard his stern question. Oh really? A smirk coiled itself onto her lips as she straightened her frame, tilting her head slightly, her gun raised, aimed at his shoulder, though it wasn't taut with her hand, it was there just for extra protection, and she stated, "What-ever you think. It's just always been like that..." she sighed softly, fibbing, but she didn't care, she'd perfected this, "Since I fell, perhaps I have a demon grandmother. Why does it matter to you?"
her own voice demanded back. What was this guy to come around here, with his sword already drawn and burning? Certainly no way to greet someone. Her brows knitted together slightly, as the Invictus took a step or two back from him, her gun still raised and pointed at his shoulder, ready to at least clip him and slow him down while she ran. Last thing she wanted was another Lillith friendship. Keeping her gaze locked on him, she inquired, "Mind if I ask why you came around here, with your sword drawn? That just gets me nervous to begin with, expecting a fight." [/blockquote][/blockquote] * * * words;; 300+ thoughts;; nah, you'll learn ^^ hope it's good. Joshua was shocked from the response he got from the woman. She seemed quite clueless.
"I really hope that question wasn't supposed to be answered." Joshua sighed. "If you want to know you aren't supposed to be alive. Your archangel father or mother was supposed to destroy you along with your vladius mother or father."
Jason rolled his eyes at the obvious response. "Is this invictus really THAT stupid?" he thought to himself.
"Also to answer why I have my sword out its because you have your anti-angel weapon out."
Obviously this woman was a threat but she didn't seem immediate hostile. Joshua figured the invictus would wait until he let his guard down to kill him.
"Now if you wouldn't mind putting down your so called "weapon" i'll put down mine."
Joshua was sure if she tried to fire at him he could probably strike the first blow.
"Its not like your easy to kill. We don't even attack you if we want you dead." Joshua said sternly while rolling his eyes. "Assuming you already knew that."
Attacking the girl was pointless. She could probably escape anyways. "Oh and in-case you have anymore questions A vladius is a sort of general of hell and a archangel is the same thing but with heaven."

He'd regret saying that to her. He would. Insult her parents like that? Insult her like that? Who the hell did this guy think he was? Inhaling quickly, she memorized his scent, wanting to make sure she could get some of Lillith's demons on his butt later on. Tuning in, she heard his thought, clueless hm? Good, underestimate me, she thought to herself. The grip on her gun tightened as he spoke that she wasn't supposed to be alive, and she snarled, "Well here I am, you're stuck with me, besides, don't get on your soapbox, how old are you? 300?" The reason she knew she existed was because her father had wanted an Invictus, her mother, a Validus was just used to be a broodmare. Hell, in the letters her mother left her, there was even the damn contract the two had signed, though he'd more or less had forced her to sign. Sometimes Pandora thought her father had been the Validus, at least in actions. Her head tilted like she would if she were eying a child, she shook it then, "You're the one who approached me with your weapon out, you put your weapon down first."
Don't fight the cold, hard truth, she thought silently towards him. She wouldn't go as far as to push her thoughts onto him. Not yet. Not unless he proved more difficult, and more annoying. This was why she hated angels, why her hate boiled deeper in her blood, "Besides, if you think I shouldn't exist, what's to say you won't try and kill me?" Course that comment was trashed the moment he opened his mouth about them not attacking her. Damn right, she thought. She'd like to take on an Archangel, she hadn't before - would be interesting nevertheless. Smirking darkly, Pandora stated, "Good, shows you have a brain." Anyone who attacked an Invictus had a death wish. Anyone who touched Marshal had a death wish. She'd kill anyone who dared get near her "younger brother," this guy included already. From the moment she laid eyes on him he didn't like him. Just like before, all angels seemed to think they were better than all other species. Well they had another thing coming. An offended look fell on her features the moment he opened his mouth, and explained to her what a Validus and an Archangel was. Her jaw dropped. Did he think she was born yesterday? Well, maybe recently, like Marshal? She shook her head, "Oh really? I had no idea....those species are my parents after all." she chuckled slightly, holstering her gun, not caring anymore, he could try and take a swing at her, but she was making sure to keep herself quiet in his head, and back a good five steps, so she would easily be able to dodge him if he should decide to attack. "Why'd you follow me?" she decided to ask, lowing her voice, though it still had malice laced to it. Joshua half expected a fight to brake out after she uttered the words "Stuck with me." Joshua began to do the math in his head. Joshua had forgot his age long ago.
Your sadly mistaken on my age, I'm 103, and I have no idea what you mean by "soapbox."
The woman put away her weapon and Joshua did the same. His weapon fizzled out as he re-sheathed it. The woman was smarter than she seemed.
I'm not stuck with you. These wings aren't just for show.
Joshua pondered in his mind for a moment. Thinking of a reason why he in fact did follow her.
I'm pretty sure that the archangels would want me to confirm you existence. Thats why I'm here.
Joshua felt vulnerable without his sword. He thought about drawing it again but stopped himself and sighed.
Are there anymore questions you want me to answer?
It was pretty obvious that this woman favored the demons. Well at least the ones lead by the Vladius.
Dying wasn't the problem. He already faced death once. It's the fact that he had no chance was the thing that troubled Joshua.

She smirked. Good, he was younger than she had anticipated, it would be quite easy to kill him, since she had easily over 900 years alone on this guy. Wrinkling her nose slightly, she'd prefer not to get angel blood all over her sword and in the air. That would end up drawing more angels to them, and she'd just need to run. That wouldn't happen. Her fingers twitched slightly, she just wanted to walk away. This would be going no where, and though the moment he spoke, her eyes flashed, anger sparking. "My apologies on your age." It would be up to him to figure out if it had sarcasm in that or not. She personally liked being able to do that, add just a dash of sarcasm to her words. Pandora then shifted slyly, and stated, "Really? Get off your high horse?"
she raised both brows, curious to know if he got either one of these. He should, they'd been around for awhile, or so she'd like to think. The Invictus then tilted her head at his comment on his wings, and she was tempted to whip out her sword and ask if he really wanted to suffer the pain some angels suffered. Getting kicked out of heaven, their hometown and then their wings being ripped from them. Resisting the urge to say that, she remained silent, mind working a mile a minute. He had to bring Archangels into this, didn't he? Eyes narrowed in disdain, was he serious? They already knew, or at least Azrael and probably Michael did. Giving him a look, she spoke, "They already know, I'm pretty darn sure." Her stomach wretched at the thought of having lost Azrael. He was gone, and she had no idea as to where he'd gone to. Nonetheless, it just shoved her into the darkness more, unable to get back out. The power-hungry animal inside of her was wanting to kill this angel, feel the rush of excitement and the scent of blood in the air once more. She knew there would be a fight though. Soon enough, but when it came...she'd need to pick a side. The angels, or the demons. The humans, she plainly thought. They'd given her a home, gave Mars one too. Her teeth ground together slightly at this thought, or maybe no side, just kill who-ever got close enough to her. Thinking, she barely realized he had asked her a question, wanting to know if she had anymore questions. Holding up a finger, she spoke, "Yeah, what's your name?" This way she'd at least have a name to go with his face too, so that way she would be able to get someone after him if he should do anything too stupid. Besides, he was answering the rest of her questions, why wouldn't he answer this last one? [/blockquote][/blockquote] * * * words;; 300+ thoughts;; none outfit;; coming soon <3

Joshua thought for a minute, he didn't want her to know his name. He stood firmly and began to speak. Now why would I give you my name?
He shifted towards his sword but stopped himself thinking of the agreement he made. It would be dishonest.
I don't want my name associated with your type anyways.
"Why would she think I would answer that question? She's not friendly." Joshua thought. He took another step back, He knew the girl wanted to kill him, To be honest, He wanted to also.
May I ask why you asked such a question?
